Michael Healy is an employment and business litigator with experience in negotiation, trial, and appellate work. His experience also extends to matters involving premises liability and personal injury where he takes an aggressive approach in protecting the best interests of his clients. In 2013, Michael was named one of San Diego's Top Young Attorneys by the San Diego Daily Transcript and has obtained the designation of Advocate from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy for his extensive development of litigation skills.
Prior to his work with Greene & Roberts, Michael assisted in the defense of multiple trials to verdict, including the successful defense of long cause jury trials involving complex contractual disputes. He has also drafted or contributed to multiple appeals, including briefing resulting in the published decision in Chaker v. Mateo (2012) 209 Cal.App.4th 1138 regarding hyperbolic internet speech and its relation to defamation claims.
Michael is an active member of the Immaculata Parish on the University of San Diego campus and is a speaker for the Goretti Group, a program with the Office for Marriage and Family Life in the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Diego. He is an associate member of the Hon. J. Clifford Wallace American Inn of Court, and is an active member of the local bar association.
