Since 2000, Ryan Blackstone-Gardner has practiced law in state, federal and bankruptcy courts in the areas of business, intellectual property, employment litigation and general civil litigation. He has extensive experience in every aspect of litigation, including all areas of discovery, mediation, law and motion, trial preparation and the trial of cases, as well as defending matters through binding arbitrations.
In addition to his civil litigation experience, Mr. Blackstone-Gardner is registered as a patent attorney before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. In this role, he has represented clients in preparing and prosecuting provisional and non-provisional patent applications, and trademark applications. Mr. Blackstone-Gardner has also represented clients in trademark infringement litigation and trademark cancellation proceedings. He also represents and counsels clients in a wide variety of business transactions, including real estate purchase agreements, licensing, non-disclosure, consulting, clinical trial and research agreements, website and software development and product development agreements, corporate formation and maintenance of both for profit and non-profit business entities.
While attending law school at the University of Notre Dame, Mr. Blackstone-Gardner was awarded the Deans Award for Excellent Achievement in Property II and graduated cum laude.
